Meng Tang’s research focuses on the physics and applications of spintronics, with an emphasis on the experimental exploration of spin-orbit torque phenomena and their applications in developing new types of information storage and processing devices. His work aims to contribute to the advancement of information technology with ultra-low power consumption.

Shaik Wasef

M.S. Student, Electrical and Computer Engineering

Spintronics devices Analog circuit design

Shaik Wasef is a Master's student in the Electrical Engineering department at the Integrated Circuit and System Research Group under the supervision of Prof. Hossein Fariborzi at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST). Shaik graduated from BITS-PILANI, India in the year 2018. His bachelor’s thesis project was based on configurational anisotropy based magnetic structures for multi-bit memory storage and logic gates. He pursued his bachelor’s thesis at KAUST under the supervision of Professor Hossein Fariborzi and currently working for the ICS group as an MSc/Ph.D. student
