Optical Wireless Communication Next-generation Wireless Networks

Sahar Ammar is a MS/Ph.D. candidate in the KAUST Communication Theory Lab (CTL) and Networking Research Lab (NETLAB) under the co-supervision of Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Prof. Basem Shihada. Education and Early Career Sahar is a graduate from Tunisia Polytechnic School (TPS) where she received her bachelor degree in multidisciplinary engineering in July 2020 majoring in Signals and Systems. Before joining KAUST for her Master’s degree, she was a visiting student at KAUST in 2020 for five months during which she conducted her graduation internship and worked on Underwater Optical Wireless

Osama Amin, PhD, SMIEEE, Senior Research Scientist at KAUST, leads innovative research in next-generation communication networks, optical wireless communications, and bio-compatible communication systems. His work aims to revolutionize global connectivity, enhance energy efficiency, and advance healthcare monitoring. With a robust background in wireless communication, signal processing and optimization, Osama is dedicated to developing sustainable and cutting-edge technological solutions for the future.
